Simby is a baby development tracking application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1. Data We Collect

• Account: email address and password (or name and email via Sign in with Apple / Google) upon registration.
• Baby data: name, date of birth, gender, photos, and health-related records (feeding, sleep, growth, temperature, symptoms, medications, vaccinations) that you enter.
• Shared access: email addresses of members you invite.
• AI assistant: questions and messages you send to the in-app AI assistant, and the resulting responses.
• Purchases: subscription status and purchase history.
• Technical data: device type, OS version, and crash logs — for diagnostic purposes only.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the features of the application.
• To send shared-access invitations.
• To provide AI-guided answers through a third-party AI provider.
• To manage subscriptions and prevent fraud.
• To maintain and improve reliability (crash diagnostics).

3. Storage and Security

Data is stored in Supabase (EU region) with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is protected by Row Level Security.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for tracking or advertising. We share limited data only with service providers that help us run the app: Supabase (database and storage), OpenAI (AI assistant responses), RevenueCat (subscription management), Sentry (crash diagnostics), and Resend (email delivery). Payments are processed by Apple; we never receive your payment card details.

5. Children's Data

The application is intended for parents and caregivers. Baby records are entered by the parent. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under the age of 13.

6. Your Rights

• Right of access, rectification, and erasure of your data.
• Right to data portability — export your data from within the application.
• To request account deletion, please contact us at the address below.

7. Retention

Upon account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.
